But I think you should start with something a little more realistic.” The chick shook his head. “No!” “Huh?” The rabbit looked surprised, and the chick continued. “But if I lose sight of my goal, I’ll die before I ever reach it, right?” The rabbit looked at the chick, a little surprised. He thought for a moment, then said, “Maybe you have a point.” The chick felt a little relieved and said, “I might not be able to do it right now, but if I keep walking toward my goal without giving up, I really think I’ll be able to do it someday.” The chick continued cheerfully, “I think if you want to go far, you have to look far ahead!” The rabb...

A Joy That Still Shines

Image
๐Ÿƒ Leaf I'm slowly reading The Wind in the Willows . Every now and then, I pause and wonder what kind of person could write words like these. I can't help feeling that the author found joy in ordinary moments. Maybe that's why the author's joy still shines through the pages today. The Wind in the Willows

Where Thoughts Begin

๐ŸƒLeaf That doesn’t seem right.” Or, “No, that’s not it. It should be this way.” Someone says something, and from there, a thought begins to form inside me. In other words, there is someone else, and we go back and forth a few times. And through that exchange, a thought I didn’t have before begins to emerge.

What Grows from Words

๐ŸƒLeaf We speak. Little bylittle, our words settle like seeds. Some disappear with the wind. Others remain unseen, waiting quietly beneath the surface. And one day, without our noticing, something begins to grow.
